Brunswick Developments
Brunswick Developments received planning approval for its new Brighton Marina
development from Brighton & Hove City Council in June 2006. A general meeting
of the Council has also used its right to permit the development in respect of
the Brighton Marina Act in July 2006.
Brunswick would like to thank everyone that supported the vision for this development
and helped our proposals achieve planning approval. We now look forward to working
constructively with the local community and all our partners in the years ahead.
The approved plans will see 853 new apartments, of which 40% will be affordable
to help essential city workers to buy and rent homes. Further details of the development
can be found throughout the Brighton Marina Future website, and it is anticipated
that work on the site will commence in spring 2008.

Brighton Marina Regeneration Project
The Brighton Marina Regeneration Project is regenerating much of the land at
the western end of the marina. The public consultation process started in spring
2006 and the team is working very closely with the community and Brighton &
Hove City Council's Planning Department.
The project proposes to create a wealth of new public spaces, including an under-cliff
park, a footbridge from the cliff and an entertainment piazza.
Over 500 affordable homes targeted at key workers, new and improved retail facilities,
a doctors’ surgery, a new and improved ASDA superstore, hundreds of new jobs and
environmentally-friendly innovations are also planned.
Continuing with the structured program of open and inclusive public consultation,
newsletters will be issued to local residents and a public exhibition will be
held prior to proposals being submitted. If you would like to get in touch with
the team call 0800 0327620 or email
